Ayaan to France?

Ayaan Hirsi Ali has applied for French citizenship after strong words of support from Henri Levy and others in the French intelligentsia and government. Ayaan is desperate to find a host country that will supply 24 hour protection, as she lives under a very real threat of murder from Islamic extremists. Notably, Muslim Urban Affairs Minister Fadela Amara has pledged to ask President Sarkozy to grant protection.

It would be a shame if she has to leave. I think she would be (and judging from her brief interview with Avi Lewis, she is) a great asset to this country.
Somebody at the the NRA should contact her, train her to wield small arms, help her apply for the proper CC permits, and outfit her with a suitable weapon. Then she wouldn’t have to worry about somebody else protecting her. She could even get ADT, or some other home security firm, to wire her home against intruders. Oh, and get a dog (Rottweiler, German Shepherd, or something similar).
Agreed.
