I Am The Predicter

While my political prognostications may not be up to snuff, I could not resist pointing out a prediction that I nailed:
It’s still early in the season, but I think a Chicago-Indy SB is the best bet, and my money is on Manning.

I thought this was Manning’s year all the way, but I got shaky towards the end. I missed on the Bears however. I thought they would lose yesterday, but they are there. I agree, still Manning’s year. The Colts victory was the one bright spot in my sports weekend. My teams have been on quite a roll, it has been a long time since I have had to witness two beat downs in the same weekend like Arkansas gave LSU in B’ball and the Bears gave the Saints.
I am now going to look for a you tube video of Jamarcus Russell making a mockery of Notre Dame.
That’ll cheer me up.
Kudos for smart picks, Michael. Looking back on the season, I find that I was basically right about the Seahawks, although they missed the NFC Conference game. I was also right about the dismal records of the Bucs, Titans, Texans, and 49′ers. I gave way too much credit to the Steelers and not enough to Philadelphia (which found the missing piece to the puzzle [it was consistent Quartebacking by Jeff Garcia, not bad playcalling by Andy Reid, fumble-fingers receivers, or lack of a ground game]). Anyway, I’m sorry to have seen the Saints lose, but am very excited to be watching a Superbowl that does not feature New England (ok, granted last year’s didn’t either, but geez, I’m getting tired of the “dynasty”).
