It’s Palin

CNN and Foxnews are reporting. Pretty surprising to me, but a pleasant surprise.
Discussion topic: I am hearing from Obama supporters that she’s a bad pick because she’s inexperienced. Is this an actual argument Obama wants to make? Does this preclude McCain from attacking Obama’s inexpience? Does the fact that Palin has over 100 times more executive expience than Obama help? (100×0=0)

Great news. Positively brilliant move by McCain.
I hope having Russia and Canada as border states can straighten out McCain’s foreign policy views but I’m not sure she’ll prevail it upon him, necessarily.
It’s good to see McCain shake things up. I was hoping he would. Who is the agent of change here? The timing is excellent also. It blunts the bump from Obama’s acceptance speech. I think she will do just fine, You point out she actually has much more executive experience than Obama. I agree. She should help McCain with women voters and some of the disgruntled Hillary crowd. All in all, a good choice.
Gov. Palin’s thin executive experience only accentuates the dearth of any executive experience at the top of the Democrat ticket.
Honestly, I was secretly wishing Dennis Kucinich would fare better than he did this time around, because he had experience as an executive leading a major city. He may have run it into the ground (and he defends that with something that had to do with the electric company) but at least he had that hands-on education.
Then again, the fact that Rudy Giuliani governed more people than some heads of state, proved to be useless in the primary, too. Sure, Rudy’s natural talents don’t include campaigning, but one would have expected somewhat more than he got from the voters.
kucinich is also kinda crazy. he is still trying to impeach bush and wants to ban mind control rays.
Dennis is so much fun. Remember at one of the Democratic debates when he confessed to Russert he saw a UFO in flight once?
