Two Americas

I am not an Ann Coulter fan. Sometimes, however, you must give the woman her due.
Evidence is accumulating that John Edwards is right — there really are “two Americas.” There’s one where men cheat on their cancer-stricken wives and one where men do not cheat on their cancer-stricken wives.

Actually I cannot stand her. However, that is pretty funny. The two of them deserve each other. In fact, I have connected them in the past!
Ann Coulter is in the business of selling books, just as Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity are in the business of selling advertising time on their shows. It’s how they make their money.
If Coulter wasn’t over the top, she wouldn’t sell. While I often disagree with her, I still make it a point to read her column every week. It’s entertainment.
She gets in a lot of digs in her columns. This paragraph from an article last year manages to stick it to Bill Clinton very humorously:
“Americans are weaker for having seen that kind of carnage in World War II. Recall that the Worst Generation was raised by the Greatest Generation. That tells you how awful war is. The Greatest Generation was so exhausted by the war, it didn’t have the spine to stand up to pot-smoking, draft-dodging hippies occupying administration buildings. But enough about Bill Clinton. If we’re going to have humane wars, they are going to take a little bit longer.”
