I’m not quite sure that’s as bad as saying Barrack Obama and Osama bin Laden are “brothers” for their Muslim-y names. It’s more like the idiocy over whether or not he’s a real U.S. citizen — i.e. laziness at the worst major newspaper in the country.
It’s par for the course in politics. I’d say these days, but I think smearing those you oppose is a time honored tradition in American politics.
Just another example of the mainstream media failing in it’s job to really inform us about issues that matter.
