It’s a good point Michael. And Dobson’s very late and unexpected endorsement seems to imply that effort will be required to persuade McCain after all. The soc-cons are certainly pushing hard. I don’t know if we’re pushing back hard enough.
McCain’s CPAC speech made me very hopeful that he and/or his campaign has their ear to the ground. If that’s true, then I hope they’re listening carefully and realize 1) If Romney weren’t in the race McCain would have probably won the southern states where Huckabee came out on top last Tuesday, and 2) if he brings Huckabee on board he’ll likely lose every independent vote in the country.
