But better yet, it was the French (a Windows media link)!
Best of all? Howard Dean should be President but voter fraud put Kerry in!
Thousands of angry Democrats are posting evidence on the Internet that John Kerry won the 2004 presidential election, and that the Republicans altered the votes. These Democrats show that if the votes had been counted correctly, John Kerry would be the next US president.
Unfortunately, accurately counting the votes would not necessarily give the presidency to John Kerry. The reason is that if we were to accurately count the votes in the Iowa caucus we might find that Howard Dean beat John Kerry by an enormous margin.
All of the polls prior to the Iowa caucus showed Howard Dean far ahead of all other Democratic candidates. When John Kerry beat Howard Dean, the Democrats assumed that most of Dean supporters decided to switch to Kerry at the last moment, and for reasons nobody has been able to explain.
However, Kerry may have won because some group cheated. In which case, he cannot complain that Bush cheated him in the presidential election.
You have to read the whole thing.

About Lance
I want to thank everybody who has encouraged me over the past few years to do this. I doubt it will hold but a few people's interest, but that is okay with me. Special thanks go to Peter over at http://www.liberalcapitalist.com.
I value my privacy a great deal, so I will guess you will have to get to know me over time to find out much. I am in the financial services, wealth management, investing or whatever you want to call it business. I have children, my oldest is entering college.
I have no great or imposing academic background, my grades varied from high enough to get invited to an honors program at my university to frustrating enough to cause my father great grief. My major was history, with a minor in ethics. My main interest towards the end was in the history of economic ideas before life took a turn and I ended up never going on to graduate school. However, I have a fair knowledge of history, economics, investing and would probably be considered well read. My tastes are eclectic and I pretty much find the entire world interesting.
I have an enduring interest in how people learn about and analyze the world; my posts here will examine this topic in detail over time. I make no claims to be above the very biases and errors I see in others, in fact it is my belief that we are incapable of escaping them, only moderating their control over us.
I am a member of no political party, but I would broadly consider myself a man of the right. I am inclined to free market economics, limited government and a fairly narrow view of the role of the state. A small L libertarian if you will. However, if you are looking for broad based "the left believes..." or "wingers are so...." types of attacks on liberals, conservatives, neo-cons or whatever enemy you want to slam, look elsewhere.

Why?
I did struggle thru the first video though. Maybe it’s just my perception of the truthers presentation, but they always come off as painfully whiney. As to the substance (or lack thereof), one aspect leapt out – Have these people ever seen the cleanup of oil spills? What is common practice in one is nefarious in the other.
You’re looking at evidence of the most massive fraud in history and all you can manage to do is sneer at the messenger!
and the lack of evidence!
Oh come on. I adopted the tone I did because in the back of my mind I figured the site may be a put up, a piece of satire. You actually believe that stuff! Is the site legit?
Read it. It is hilarious. He turns it into a comedy with the three stooges, Laurel and Hardy and Abbott and Costello. The French one is really, I don’t know how to describe it. Unlike the first video, the others make me think it may be a joke to make fun of guys like Winter.
I really can’t tell.
OK… I can see how one might think both the Blame the French video and the Laurel & Hardy + Three Stooges might be parody. But I know some very smart people that have bought into some of the most outlandish conspiracies; Jaw dropping stuff, stated without hint of doubt. With this in mind, I am unconvinced that the later is parody, the first video definitely is not, but I’ll concede that the subtle irony of blaming the French cloaked in real Truther rhetoric probably is.
As I said, I can’t tell. I wrote what I wrote above so if somebody called it parody I wouldn’t feel too foolish. I certainly know people swallow such things, I just don’t know about the site. I don’t know if I like that it is so hard to tell real conspiracy whackos from the fake ones, but I often can’t. I think Oliver Stone believes the things he says for example, but sometimes I think he is just taking people for a ride.
