Voting in any manner that allows Democrats to win is, simply, stupid. It will be interesting to see how this falls out. Some Democrats have been pushing another assault weapon bill, we will see if this gains more support. The general tendency is that gun banners try to ban certain guns, using mass murder as a justification, even if the mass murder in question did not use a similar type of gun. The San Yasidro McDonald's shooting of the mid 80s was done mostly with a shotgun with a handgun and Uzi also used. The total was, (IIRC) 21 dead, of whom 4 were killed by the Uzi, per the forensics expert. Yet the Uzi received the publicity . . .
