My God, she dated Danesh D’Souza for Chrissakes…

I didn't know that, and now I am really sad I do. Thanks for making my day. They should both marry, settle down and shut up.

Like what?

It was rhetorical. A way to express disapproval, not a call to muzzle. Though I guess I should be careful, it is the kind of thing Greenwald might claim had some kind of dark intent behind it.

C’mon man, she’s an entertainer. Eddie Murphy became rich and famous and beloved for telling “faggot” jokes.

True, and while I am tired of her schtick, I think most people are missing what is really wrong with her, which is when she tries to be serious. Then many people take her as a serious thinker (because she is bright) rather than a crude dishonest propagandist. You and I don't read her, but lots of ordinary Americans do and find her dishonest scholarship compelling. That is why I put in the link discussing her and Greenwald, who is never amusing (and let us be honest, some of Ann's little zingers are pretty funny) but uses the same kind of faux "research" to smear others and distort. They think "Treason" is a serious and well done book showing all liberals are out to destroy our way of life, traitors. Greenwald's many fans, and unlike Coulter they include lots of serious intellectuals on the left, are given the mirror image using the same techniques. So that is what is really what is wrong with Ann, not her bombshells.

Still, if CPAC wants to appeal to anyone outside of the college Republicans and unthinking movement conservatives she, and that remark, are out of place.

I think Coulter is certainly entitled to a voice, but I have to admit that more often that not I wish Coulter would try to defeat the left with facts, not ad hominem rhetoric.

I don't enjoy listening to her speak or reading her columns very much anymore because I am in constant anticipation of the moment where I am going to cringe at some ill conceived comment which offsets any intelligent thing she may have said.
