Agreed, particularly with respect to Buchanan who I’ve never found interesting or credible. Paul Craig Roberts, on the other hand, used to be quite rational, and he had a good instict for the economics underlying important policy issues. Nowadays, however, he’s sort of araving lunatic who rarely makes any sense.
